After an individual visits the hospital, they may not be ready to go back home. If the physician determines the patient needs advanced medical care, we offer Transitional Care Units (TCU) for continual medical oversight from trained nurses in a hospital-like setting. The goal is to get patients recovered and back home as quickly as possible. Sometimes they may incorporate rehabilitation care into their TCU stay. However, it depends on what the doctor has recommended for their comprehensive treatment care plan.
